margo only works if you trust her with what you're carrying. here's plainly how that data is held, used, and kept private.
this page is maintained by the margo team to answer common questions about how margo handles your data. it describes margo's own practices and is not an independent certification or legal agreement.
signing in
you sign in with an email and password, or with your google account. passwords are checked against known breached-password lists at sign-up, so you can't choose one that's already been leaked. there are no anonymous accounts.
your life is yours alone
everything you tell margo — your tasks, captures, plans and chats — is stored in a managed cloud database and locked to your account with row-level security. that means only you, signed in, can read or change your own data. no other user can see it.
where it lives
margo runs on lovable cloud, a managed platform built on supabase. your data sits in that managed database and travels over encrypted https connections. this page describes margo's own practices and is not a security certification.
voice and the morning dump
when you talk to margo, your audio is sent to an ai provider to turn into text, then discarded — the recording is never stored. only the resulting words are kept, as items on your list.
connecting your calendar and inbox
if you choose to connect google, margo can see your calendar so suggested time doesn't clash with real meetings, and add or move blocks you ask her to. she can also read your inbox — sender, subject and a short preview — to spot what genuinely needs a reply or has a date in it. email access is read-only: margo never sends, deletes or changes anything in your inbox. you can disconnect at any time from settings, and margo falls back to internal-only planning. this is entirely optional — margo works fully without it.
how we use ai
margo uses an ai model to sort what you're carrying, name the one thing that matters today, and draft messages for you to send. your text is sent to the model to do that work. margo drafts and prepares — she never sends or acts on your behalf without you confirming first.
what we don't do
we don't sell your data. we don't show you ads. we don't share your personal information with advertisers. margo holds your life so your head can go quiet — not so anyone can profit from it.
billing and your statement
if you subscribe, payments are handled securely by stripe. charges appear as "archetype ai" on your bank or card statement — archetype is the company behind margo. you can manage or cancel your plan any time from settings.
deleting your data
your data stays only as long as you keep your account. if you want it gone, you can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it, and we'll remove it.
